Asterias amurensis, Northern Pacific Seastar
TopAsterias amurensis, the Northern Pacific seastar, was accidentally introduced into Australia in the 1980s. It is found in the Derwent Estuary (Hobart), Tasmania and Port Phillip Bay, Victoria.
