Seven days a week, four lambs at the Division of Nutritional Biochemistry took turns in this wheel. Each lamb did about one-sixth of a mile (50 revolutions) in just under eight minutes at a fast walk or a slow canter, as part of research into white muscle disease in sheep. Assisting these 'revolutionary' studies was Marilyn Horn.
