The Australian Seafood Handbook, the most authorative guide to Australian seafood for use by consumer and the trade. Co-edited by Peter Last, Bob Ward and Gordon Yearsley of CSIRO Marine Research. Published by CSIRO Publishing, the book was released in June, 1999 and includes species identification, habitat information, protein fingerprinting and fillet identification. The book sold 10,000 copies and the waterproof version won a National Print Award in the Innovation category.
