The CSIRO Water for a Healthy Country flagship is conducting a comprehensive water monitoring program to better understand the impacts of urban development on the aquatic environment.

Data on water quality and quantity from surface water and groundwater is helping researchers gain a better understanding of the groundwater regime in the area, groundwater interaction with the Wungong Brook and wetlands and will ultimately support selection of water management options for the new Brookdale development.
