Top
Jack Griffiths Davies, founder of the Division of Tropical Pastures, became the chief architect of northern pasture research in Australia. His pioneering work extended over forty-two years. He advocated that advances in the science and practice of pasture improvement depended on close integration of research by field and laboratory workers. Davies stands knee-deep in an experimental plot.
