Tectocoris diophthalmus - the Cotton Harlequin Bug
TopTectocoris diophthalmus is the only member of the subfamily Tectcorinae and attacks cotton bolls. This scutellerid exhibits maternal care by standing guard over its egg batches. The species is known to occur in a number of colour forms.
