The Bushy Yate - Eucalyptus lehmannii
TopA large number of unusual mallee eucalypts are found in the south-west of Australia. The bushy yate is one of a group of eucalypts with radiating finger-like buds, which, after flowering, develop into a dense head of seed capsules resembling a caveman's club.
It is the only eucalypt with the flowers united into a head, thus the name 'bushy yate'.
