Mountain Ash with Tree Fern understorey. Black Spur, Victoria. Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans) is one of the world's tallest forest species, exceeded in height only by the redwoods of California, USA. Under most conditions heights range from 55-75m but measurements of up to 100m have been recorded. Mountain Ashes are found only in Victoria and Tasmania.
