Nudibranch – Ceratosoma brevicaudatum
Size: Max 150mm
Distribution: Endemic to Australia  from Northern NSW around to Abrolhos Islands, W.A.

The name Nudibranch means naked gills. These most beautiful and bizarre of creatures belong to the subclass Opisthobranchia or sea slugs. Worldwide it is estimated that the subclass has in excess of 3,000 species.
