Cotton by Computer
TopAt Narrabri in New South Wales, CSIRO scientists are collaborating with the State Department of Agriculture and cotton farmers in the cause of more efficient production of cotton. A computer-based management system is helping them find the best ways of managing the cotton crop, to use fewer pesticides and to increase the harvest.
