Cycas media, Northern Queensland
TopThe cycads are an extremely ancient group of plants. This one, Cycas media, is abundant in the open eucalypt forests of northern Qld.
The seeds of this plant are very poisonous but Aboriginal People of the area devised a method of preparation so they are innocuous.
