CSIRO has identified the 'ideal' macadamia preferred by consumers

Top
CSIRO researchers have measured consumer preferences and related them to the source and treatment of nuts with the goal of providing the Australian macadamia industry with information to help it produce nuts that are more appealing to consumers.

Research showed that the preferred macadamia was large and fresh, with a strong roasted flavour but still light in colour.
