A Matter of Survival: Toxic Solvents

An attempt to make laboratory staff more alert to the dangers of insidious poisoning from toxic solvents by highlighting the careless handling of benzene.

Although the main theme is: ''Avoid breathing harmful, toxic fumes'', several other instances of bad laboratory practice are included in the film to challenge the powers of observation of audiences interested in safety in the laboratory.

Produced in 1963.
