Stegobium paniceum beetles are oval in shape, slightly hairy, have long antennae with loose three-segmented club. When alarmed can curl up almost to a ball. Drugstore beetles are pests of wide range of stored products, especially processed foods and spices. They are occasionally found in grain and grain stores.
