A Divisional Herbarium

Top
A Divisional Herbarium containing about 12, 000 species of plants from Australia and other countries was created in 1930. It formed a valuable reference collection for the identification of plants obtained during pasture and vegetation surveys, and helped form the nucleus of the National Herbarium (the Australian National Herbarium was formed in 1984).
